About Our Contact Lens Department:

Order more contact lenses!

If you are a contact lens wearer, or would like to be, The EyeCare Center is the place to be.  Our doctors have the skill to fit even the most difficult prescriptions.

From daily disposable lenses to corneal reshaping, we will take the time to design a lens to suit your lifestyle and needs.

Daily disposable lenses are worn one day and thrown away.  No solutions, no hassles. Perfect for those who travel, like to camp, or only want to wear lenses on weekends or for hunting or sporting events.

Two-week disposable lenses are great for beginners,  anyone with allergy problems or those who have a problem with protein build-up on their lenses.

Toric lenses are for those with astigmatism. Astigmatism simply means your cornea (the clear, front portion of your eye) is more oval shaped than round. They are available in 2- week disposables and monthly disposables.  They are also available in a 30 day extended wear lens.

30 Day Extended wear lenses are FDA approved for up to 30 days of continuous wear.  Great for anyone who wants to wake in the middle of the night and see.  Perfect for new parents, on-call workers or those who have difficulty removing their lenses.  College students who study into the early morning hours appreciate the convenience and comfort.

If you now need bifocals or reading glasses, you can still wear contact lenses.

Monovision is a technique where one eye wears a lens for distance viewing, and the other eye wears a lens for near viewing.  The brain then decides which eye to look through.

Multifocal contact lenses allow you to see distance and near through your contact lenses.

Many patients wear a combination of both types.  A multifocal lens in one eye and a distance lens in the other eye for example.  Our doctors have many years of experience in finding the right combination for you.

Rigid gas permeable lenses are the modern day hard lenses.  They offer crisp, clear vision while providing your eyes with the necessary oxygen to keep them healthy.  They work well for those with astigmatism.

We also offer two unique products, Nike MaxSight contact lenses and CRT, Corneal refractive therapy.

The Nike MaxSight contact lenses are designed to aid visual performance in athletic settings.  They enhance contrast, allowing the wearer to see a ball or selected objects with greater clarity than the naked eye.  They are available in both prescription and non-prescription forms.

Two tints are available, grey-green for golf and running or amber for soccer, tennis, baseball or softball.

Corneal refractive therapy lenses or CRT for short, are specially designed vision retainers that gently and gradually reshape the cornea to eliminate or reduce nearsightedness or astigmatism.  The principal is similar to the use of a dental retainer used by an orthodontist to realign crooked teeth.  The vision retainers are only worn at night while you sleep.  They are removed when you wake up and provide clear vision during the day without the need for glasses or contact lenses.  The retainers are comfortable and very easy to care for.
